From LX to MSP- my build.

well fellas/ladies..whoever is watching my thread. it's about time for an update!!


first off, the pro is in the MOTM so vote if you think mine should win..i'm not doing so well yet.


also, update-

i sold my block, head, suspension... mount kit..etc...

after talking w/ dana.. i know the route i'm going w/ this build. dana and i will be building my motor/trans together. so i can get first hand knowledge of how it all goes. 8.0:1 compression is the deal. ss ported head, twiggy cams, kazman cam gears. fully built trans. straight cut gears-1-4, 5 heli.. all w/ longer ratios... i'll be redoing my route for the intercooler piping probably myself... i'm going to learn to weld and all w/ this car. so we'll see.. i'm gonig to be starting my wire tuck soon as the weather gets a bit better..but i can't find a disconnect for the main engine harness..if i have to do it in the engine bay, that would suck.

I ordered my espelir springs, all gt spec parts are ordered, or here. illuminas are on the way. i have a loan pending so i can order the rest of my parts. and get stuff done i want. this car is going to be badass. crazycaker is awaiting my car for a CF roof.. suspension parts and other misc parts will be getting powdercoated soon. interior is going to be redone w/ the sparco blue suede(if anyone knows where to get this, let me know)... header and turbo and downpipe are getting jet hot coated...

Yay for Espelirs (2thumbs) Who'd you sell the forged parts to? Too bad I didn't have any cash to move on those.

Also, you got my vote in ROTM. I'm surprised that there are so few cars this month. Maybe I should enter my car again next month.

I voted for ya! Like I said you have a lot of peoples respect by basically starting from scratch with a stock protege. I would like to say though be careful how you spend your money, debt is not a fun place to be. I am dealing with that now. Good luck with everything though. Your plan for the build sounds amazing!

i'll always have debt. it's ok to me. as long as i control it. no credit cards. only loans. easy payments.. builds my credit.
