FREE MPI help!

I have the mpi tuner with the auxiliary injectors. I have the ford svt cobra 03 "blue giants." These injectors are rated at 39 lb/hr (a lil less than 440 cc/min). Im looking to replace these injectors with 650cc/min injectors. Im having an extremely difficult time finding high impedance injectors that will fit the fuel rail (that the blue giants are currently in). Anyone have any suggestions or have already upgraded to even larger injectors in the auxiliary fuel rail from MPI?

It doesnt matter if they are high or low impedance, how many you have extra?

2 Low Imp injectors will do just fine.

several people have told me that i need high impedance. on the smt-6 website, they also say that you need high impedance.

I also have the blue injectors from mpi and need to upgrade to bigger ones.I wrote to atpturbo.com and they told me that the 550cc, 630cc, and 750cc should be compatible with the setup, but i dont want to spend $200 for the bigger injectors and have them not fit.Anybody have any input?

the problem is the diameter of the top and bottom of the injectors. i been looking at different ford injectors but everything is a damn mystery. its hard to find solid information on anything.

So you guys are over 300whp then since you need to upgrade the injectors? You should hav enough fuel with those 2 xtra injectors plus the stock injectros to make over 330whp, since that is what an MSP did that Nick setup.

My guess is you are not controlling the stock injectors if you need to upgrade the xtra injectors. I would call Nick up and ask him, since he is the one who made them and he knows the unit best.

I originally had it setup controlling the stock injectors and extra injectors but had alot of issues with fuel cut and the car bucking, so i switched to a map sensor and no more problems.My wastegate is junk and would spike between 16-18 psi and would flutter and not hold a steady boost.But at 17 psi it would lean out to about 13.8/1 A/F which is way to lean so i want to upgrade the injectors.

since the ones u have are bosch i believe, try atpturbo.com they have bosch style ones in all sizes and impedence.

atpturbo told me that i just dont want to buy the 750cc injectors and find out that there to wide or to long, i was kinda hoping someone else has already done it.

good point ill give them a call tomorow and see if the can give me the dimensions of those injectors.

Why don't you just call Nick and get the info from him, he is the one who made them and would be able to tell you what will fit and what won't!

I have a different extra injector setup that came with the turbo kit that i bought.But im using the 39# injectors that he uses.His injectors fit in my setup so i need larger bosch style injectors.

The 750cc injectors we sell have the same standard Bosche package as
all the
factory Ford injectors like 42 lb greentops and 30lb redtops if that
helps.So im going to go ahead and order them and see if they fit and will let you know when i get them.

Yes all of those injectors are compatible with each other.
