english classes are your friend.

Uhm, MP5Raycer didn't make much sense, but from what I gathered, one of his friends destroyed his 'Lude by sucking up a squirrel? That doesn't make sense on many parts; One, there's not going to be any vacuum in that tube, as it's not connected properly to the intake tract; Two, if you block the intake, the car will stall... It'll keep injecting fuel, then just get over rich, and stall out on you. I've done that before by blocking the intake tract with my hand on my old Volvo. So, he shouldn't have destroyed the engine just from lack of air... And even if he did have vacuum in the dryer hose, it would have either collapsed, or either way, the squirrel would have stopped at the MAF, for sure... Unless it was developing a few hundred pounds of vacuum. =)

anyways .. bunch of fkin nerds geesh

first and foremost .. i was damn near fallin asleep posting that last night .. im really not worried how i was spelling. second of all ... your statement is mre retarted then anything i have said .. becasue .. yes the intake tube does have a vacume and i did not say he hooked up his lude JUST LIKE this other guy .. did I .. no I didnt . I said was a friend of mine lost his motor becasue of a set up LIKE IT meaning Kinda LIKE IT . so in Lehy terms for you .. the dryer vent was directly hooked up to his factory intake tube .. he was flying down the road through the gears .. into Vtech ... (maximum vacume) when a squirrel ended up in wrong place wrong time and ended up all the way up inside to tube and blew the motor ... so for any further in depth explainations I can offer you please feel free to hop in your short yellow school bus and head on over .. class dismissed

were you "damn near falling asleep" again posting that? it was almost as bad as the other one. Also, if your friend hooked it DIRECTLY to the intake with no filter or anything to block water, etc..., well then he's a ****** idiot(and deserved a ****** motor), you probably helped him out with that i bet too..

Heh. Well, I didn't THINK I was being an ass; I was just explaining what I knew to be the case. At any rate, maximum vacuum is achieved on deceleration, not under load for sure.

correct u are sir, like on a turbo car when u let off the gas and you have a boost gauge the vac runs all the way to 20 inches or so depending on the car.

wait a minute, i thought cars had air filters on them for a reason...
brb ima go rip my s*** off, bugs, water, etc all up in my engine sounds "MAd tYTE y0!@#$"

flat black's post definately 0WN3D 3V3ry0n3!!! hahaha i was seriously thinking thatthe whole time and then i read that post... haha

guys guys ... jesus christ i was mearly pointing out that a guy i knew had a set up similair to what you did .. but yes .. it was not a boosted lude, and it was a direct shot with no mass air flow sensor, also yes had the squirrel been big enough naturally it would have stalled the motor out . but at the speed he was at and acceloratign .. it was wrong place wrong time for both and a correction to anyone who doubts this .. for a non turbo car take your air filter or air box off then fire up the car .. reach over and crank the throttle cable and rev her up .. then releasse .. you tell me which pulls more air .. the engines acceloration or deceloration ?????? so it was just a mere mention of what some dumbass did to his car .. and seeing that dryer vent made me think of it .. so it that gets your panties in a wad .. sucks to be you .. im done this conversation
