Frederick Meet

Hey guys, FlyinHawaiian and I thought it was time for another Frederick Meet. So I wanted to see who would be interested.

I am trying to get an idea of what day/time would work for people before nailing down the date. Right now the plan is to meet at Brewers Alley in downtown Frederick. If you have any recommendations, I'd like to hear them. Thanks!

Yea I just figured we MD folk are disorganized as it is, so more then one meet might cause some confusion/disruption... Might as well put all the energy into one meet so we can actually have a decent turnout...

I mean it's whatever, a meets a meet right... Although I must say I HATE driving in Olde town Frederick...

Btw, if the weather's nice we should go on a cruise... there's plenty of long stretches of backroads near/around Frederick

Actually if you guys are down, we should maybe meet up in Frederick and cruise out to Sugarloaf Mountain (anybody heard of it) It's about 15-20 min. from Frederick, the drive is fun and the scenery is niice...

Just a thought, throwing it out there.... My buddies and I go for fun runs out there all the time there is alot of switchbacks going up and down the mountain... Anyone up for a Touge Battle

Sounds like a good suggestion. Is that near Thurmont and Catoctin Nat'l park? I know there are some nice roads there. If we have time I was thinking we could make a stop in the park. It's been a while since I hiked up there, but there's also an apple orchard in the area that has some kickass cider.

I could be available this weekend. I'll send Jeff a pm and see if he got his car back yet. Otherwise I was thinking the last weekend of the month would be good. That gives everyone time to mark it in their calendars.

where is Brewer's Alley?? i used to hang around in downtown frederick. i used to own a white integra tyepr with some good s*** under the hood. i might had seem ya around there be4??

I'm not sure, I believe it's right in the middle of downtown (whatever that main street is.)

I haven't heard back from Jeff or anybody else about this meet, so I'm going to push it back to next month and try and drum up more support. In the meantime, everybody should come to the meet this weekend at Arundel Mills.

Thought i bring this back since warmer weather is not to far off. So any body want to start a weekly meet or something up?

Wow... what a bump. I occasionally come down to Frederick because a customer of ours is Bechtel Power. Unfortunately, my chances of traveling down there are slim as of now. I hope this changes.

I hear ya, Where do most of you all meet up around MD? I use to go down to Germantown a bit last year near the theaters. If weather holds out on March 14th, I have a few people willing to go to Masion Dixion for Test and Tune
