:p doubt this one seriously but figured i would ask and get flamed for it.. but oh well... does anyone have pics of them doing a internal swap... i was thinking of just buying a full forged engine.. but the cost is 2 times as much as just the internals... what would you do??

Also what type of boost can our cars hold with forged internals??? can we run 12-15 safely daily?

Having forged internals doesn't mean you can just up the boost. You still need supporting mods and engine management. With engine management you can boost 12-15 daily without forged internals. It's just alot wiser to go with forged internals. I don't think there is a how-to. If you buy the parts, rods and pistons, any machine shop should be able to do the work for you. This should save you a little money.

True, true even a "bulletproof" motor will blow under the right conditions

True bullet proof doesnt mean you can boost 30 psi...you can still blow your motor. But I dont know...I recently help my friend build up a CA18DET, it was fun and a learning experience. But I dont think its all that expensive if you buy it from wagner...I think hes asking for around $2K? Which is about what it would cost to locate and buy a block and build it up yourself. Maybe he'll knock some $$ off the price if you supply your own block?
