Forge Valve install/impressions

using the yellow spring my boost would hold 16 psi then still drop off to 14 or so using the yellow spring. Still way better then the Stock one but using the blue spring i NEVER drop boost however you will get flutter if you let off the throttle quickly in low boost/partial throttle boost(1-7psi) situations using the blue spring.
Start with the yellow spring after a week switch to the blue and you will see a BIG difference with the way the car holds boost. I went to the red and WOW even better but in partial throttle boost situations i got alot of surge and loud flutter. Did not like the way the car reacted so BLUE for me untill i up the boost 
Do you have some way of logging boost ? I bet you dont even realize your loss. I didnt think i had the problem either untill i logged PSI with the DH... Carefull with that 6th gear boosting its for overdrive
He wasn't asking about the sound and most likely he heard it. Asstards like yourself just can't keep worthless opinions to themselves even when somebody doesn't ask for it.

My first post was more of a general question. Not directed to powerslave directly. It wasn't until later in the thread when he claimed that vta made a temp difference in the intake charge that I tried to explain to him why he was wrong.
My opinion may be worthless to you since you disagree with it, however I think that it was a necessary part of the question that I asked. Had I simply said "What does vta sound like on the forge vta valve?" I could have gotten a generic response. By mentioning that I didn't like the sound of the "ping" that lets whoever decides to make an intelligent response know specifically what I do not like about the sound, and they can answer the question in a manner that tells me exactly what I want to know.
The fact that your first response to me was hostile is an attitude that doesn't get us anywhere on this board. Instead of saying "Actually the ping isn't so bad once you get used to it, you should give it a try." or "The vta has the ping but its softer" or "no the vta doesn't have a ping" or any one of a myriad of responses that actually contribute and answer my original question.
So Ryz, thanks for the contribution to this thread, and thanks for helping me out so much. I've now realized that I have no idea what I'm talking about, and that, yes, I am indeed scared to go outside b/c so many people are out there with forge bpv's all of them pinging all over the place!

Does the VTA valve from forge make a "ping" noise like the recirculation valve? I personally am not a fan of that noise, however I know some contentious members of this forum disagree with me so in order to avoid hurting their feelings I must acknowledge that the noise is indeed pleasant but because I am such an asstard I do not like it.

You made a stupid statement about something that's been discussed a hundred times already and you're surprised when somebody says something. Funny how I can say your dumb in less than 30 sentences, unlike you.
no the VTA valve does not make the high pitched sound. i am the one who tested the valve for them. i ran it on my car for a few weeks with no noticable signs of a problem. the fact does remain though that VTA is no good for this car. that is why i sold that valve a long time ago. my buddy now runs it on his cx-7. it has been 9 months now, and his ride is fine. in fact with just that valve and the blue spring, his otherwise stock cx-7 chirps into second ! the VTA valve makes a clean whoosh sound, and of all the VTA options out there, i would have to recommend this one. but as i said, it is still a bad idea, even with a standback.
