That's the aussie style I guess. I still think Ford should have slapped a Cougar badge or something on one and had something to compete with the GTO...

Hello, my name is Edwin, and I'm from Australia.

Over here in Australia we have two major brands competing for the market, Holden and Ford. Holden is part of GM's empire and Ford is part of Ford. Geddit? Quite a few people here are quite loyal to their camp - Holden or Ford!

Anyway, over here what you know as Pontiac GTOs are actually originally made as a Holden Monaro. I think if you want a close comparison to a four-door monaro, try looking up VX commodores or VT commodores on a google search.

Anyway, holden has a performance arm too, check out the website www.hsv.com.au
