Guys, we have a Ford ECU. Me and twizyours swapped ECU's as he has a protege, so I got his to have a more boost friendly ECU.
My mechanic said my ECU looked just like a Focus ECU, and then we looked on it and it said Ford.
Now this doesn't surprise me, but the reason for posting is this:
Focus ECU's can be chipped, so why can't ours? Do you think that the ECU's are the same, but maybe Mazda uses a different type of coding? We should get with someone who makes Focus chips and see what they think.
