Foglight options for the Touring model

We just bought a 2012 CX9 touring. What ae my options for that Foglight area. It's making me bananas. We didn't want or need any of the othe retires of the grand touring but the fog lights (appearance reasons only, lo.) and the blue lightening around the gauges. I inquired about Mazda ones but the dealership said they were like $700 cost.. Are there any aftermarket options that perhaps include the fitting that fits into the bumper? Is there any aftermarket pieces that just look better than the plastic honey comb thing? Just curious. I will probably just deal with it, but it looks to plain as is... Thanks in advance

Holy Thread revival, Batman!

I sorted through about 15 Mazda part sellers online last night. The cheapest place I could find fog lamps for my 2011 CX-9 is at TascaParts.com.

Part Number TD11V7235A
Part Name FOG LAMP HARNESS
MSRP $159.95
Core $0.00
Online Price $119.62

Part Number TE69V7220
Part Name FOG LIGHTS
MSRP $407.95
Core $0.00
Online Price $304.67

Part Number GS3M66122A
Part Name SWITCH- FOG LIGHTS
MSRP $47.95
Core $0.00
Online Price $35.86

For my location there are about $50 in added shipping costs which brought the total to around $460 vs $657 my local dealer wants for the same parts. They also figured 2 hours for labor which would push their costs to around $800.

There are two diagrams for installing SWITCH-FOG LIGHTS GS3M66122A illustrated here:

http://www.tascaparts.com/parts/2011/MAZDA/CX-9/TOURING/?siteid=213668&vehicleid=1447636&diagram=5424295&diagramCallOut=18

And also here:

The part number is the same for either configuration and both illustrations are for the Touring model although all models appear to use the same illustrations. I suppose the only difference is which steering column shroud you may have.

Another thing you could do is buy the install kit from Mazda and buy the foglights used from a salvage vendor, that would for sure save you some dough. You can actually negotiate with salvage vendors over-the-phone. If you want the name of a salvage seller I trust that I quote from with my job all the time, pm me and I'll give it to you. (don't want to promote specific seller on here as it quasi violates the rules)
