Is there a fog light kit made for the 626? Or is there a generic kit that could work in a 626 without a lot of work? Just wondering.

Scoured google and yahoo, i didn't find any OEM fog light kit although I swear I saw a GF 626 with OEM-looking foglights. You can always get the universal ones, they don't take too much wiring, just hook it up to the battery, hook up the switch, fuse/relay, and then finally the lights. I'll dig around and see if I can find the pic of the 626 with the fogs.

nice. Thanks! You don't have to go out of your way to do all that. If i have the time and the patience, i'll look into a universal kit then.

so I saw ur generation 626 with oem fogs, looks like it needs either a cut-out of the corners of the front bumper or an entirely different one, sorry I was driving and couldn't snap a pic. Seems like these are more rare than Bigfoot.

heh, which would make it that much better if i had them ;)

my front bumper is cracked on the right side underneath, so i dunno if all the work would be worth it. maybe i'll go for a replacement bumper that would fit them. You think the new gen 6 front bumper would work/look good? what do you suggest?

I'm pretty sure the new 6 bumper is gonna need to be modified to fit since it'll be wider than your stock bumper. IMO it's too curvy for a 626, I'd get a 626 bumper that'll accomodate the fogs cause even if u can't find them, u can still put aftermarket ones in their place and not have the "fang" looking fogs that a lot of other cars have.

y dont you just go to a junkyard and find them? just polish the lenses when you get them and make them look awesome before putting them in....

As far as i know, there's only one front bumper for a 626 of my generation, which is the one i have. So are you saying just find another one and cut holes in it, or is there an older model that will fit them or something?

he's talking about going to the junkyard to find the oem fog lights. jspec, remember this is for a GF 626

I know, i was referring to your post.

Are you talking about finding an Mx-6 bumper that will fit the fog lights?

this is what i meant :p

indeed it does. OR this guy is pimp at cutting holes in his bumper.

as you can kind of see in this picture of my bumper (click on it), there are "sockets" where i could put the fogs. it's hard to see because the car is black, but there is a grill like thing there, and that guy could have cut his out. if this guy actually bought the bumper like that, i'd like to know where the heck he found it though :D

suggestions? i hope i don't mess this up. but, my bumper's got a pretty gnarly crack in it underneath anyway, should i try and get that fixed, or replace the thing?

or MAYBE i can attempt the fog light bezel installation on this one, and if i mess it up, i'll just get a replacement bumper and do it right? what do you guys think?

Question... i don't have a "jigsaw." would a hacksaw work? or a serrated knife? what could i use instead?

Edit: maybe i could rent one...? i dunno, if anyone has suggestions there let me know. Before i go through with this i want to make sure i have everything i need.
