Fog Lights without Head Lights

Yes, you will need one extra piece, about 3 feet long, to connect the black/green wire to the red wire that goes into the relay.

:D Hey it works!!! Thanks Swimmer ure the man!! WOW ! It was really easy...but does anyone know how to wire the sidemark so that they come on with the lights?...and can this be done and still get a blink when the turn signal is on?? Thanks guys!!! :D

thanks swimmer. now what kind of wire? can i just use cheap speaker wire about the same guage? sorry if i look like a moron. i'm new. hehe :)

Hmmmm, that would probably work, but I wouldn't recommend it. I went to Radio Shack and bought a spool of regular 20 gauge electrical wire.

swimmer...u da shiznit!...i'll do this this weekend! oh yeah...and when you ditch the kenwood sub...shout to me first! *sidenote* the other side of the pillow is always a safe bet to stay cool! :D

Fuse Box? Who said anything about a fuse box? You need to splice into the black/green wire that comes out of the fog light switch. I just had some wire splicer connectors that I bought at Radio Shack. You just put both wires through the connector and snap the connector together. Then I ran the extra piece of wire down to the fog light relay switch and connected it to the red wire coming out of that. For that I just connected the wires with some electrical tape. Does this answer your question??

kinda...but what i'm saying is...i went to radioshack and got the 20 gauge wire and some slice connectors but the 20 gauge wire doesn't seem to fit in the splice things...(18-22gauge)...can u help me find which splice connectors to buy? the ones i got are red.(if it helps any.)

ok...i got blues now. thanks swimmer!however..."It's a black relay plugged into a clear plastic harness"...i don't see any clear harness down there with a red wire.is it on the left side or right above the brake pedal?

It's almost directly above the brakes, maybe slightly to the left as your are looking up. If you turn the fogs on and off you will be able to hear it click.

ok thank you, i found the relay. now, how did you pop that cover off on the side of the dash?

Just get underneath the dash and push it out (towards the door). There are about 5 tabs that will pop out, and then it just slides out.
