Okay, work with me here. I have a feeling people will love or HATE this idea.
What I wanna do is buy another 2 fog lights (from the wreckers or whatever) and put them in the bottom grill right next to the existing fogs (obv cut a hole in the grill not just slap them over top)
I wanna get my P5 to look like a rally car...

So..my 2 questions are
1. How could I hook up these 2 new fogs to switch on the 2 already there? Splice the existing ones?
2. Do you like this idea? LOL...

i like the look of something like that on the mini when they are around the upper grill. not sure about the lower. photoshop it and see how it looks! could be real cool

(1) I would go to walmart and buy a cheap set of foglights and use the wireharness, relay and switch from that

(2)i wouldnt splice into the existing ones.Too much draw you would end up blowing fuses.

Is that photoshoped?
And yea, that's what I was thinking of about splicing. So I guess it would be smarter to wire it separately.

Yeah the yellows don't look too bad actually.
I also think that they might be too close to the fogs already in. Try moving them apart if you could.
I might need to take a pic of my front end to see how it would look. My cars midnight blue, I also have a license plate with tint over it @ the front. Idk if that will make it look better or worse though.

Ahh I love the rally look, and believe it or not, there is something available that will not only suit what you are looking for, but it takes it one step further:

You might need to do some custom brackets but it would be easier that doing it for the grille. I have not seen a p5 with this in years, be bold and go for it! Honestly if I did not have my front lip I would be all over this. Throw some huge Hella lights up front and your rally transformation is on the way!

O and too answer the other question, you would just need to get a separate lighting harness and switch, then you can turn them on and off when desired. You cannot drive with them on (technically) when driving on normal roads, pretty certain its illegal. But unless you are pointing them at a cop you should be alright. And even then if you just turn them off like you would with your high beams you'll be alright.

!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 things need to be said

1. THANK YOU
2. I have had a secret crush on your car ever since I joined this thread!
I've taken a lot of inspiration from your car!:)

Just happy I can help, it's my job! Definitely put up pics if you get this together.

does anyone know how you take out the switches in the car just to the left of the steering wheel?
i might just pull that out and put in pilot flip switches.
2 seperate ones for the fogs, 1 for interior blue lights, and 1 for hopefully one day some underglow :D

sorry but i gunna have go on the hate side.. but hey everyone has their own likes.
good idea tho, and best of luck on your creation.
