Fog Light fogginess

Hello, I'm finally allowed to post !!! I didn't think I was ever going to get a confirmation e-mail ! Anyway, I have a question about the P5. I've changed my headlight bulbs to hyper whites and now I want to put in my fog light bulbs but with my car being dropped it's hard to get under there to figure it out. Can anyone possibly explain how to change the fog light bulbs for me ? I really want to get these things in to complete the look of my lighting. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !:)

There is a bolt attatching the light housing to the frame and also a wire that can detatch from the bulb wire. after you take both of these out you can unscrew the light housing from the back and put the new light in. I had the same problem as you but once I figured it out it only took about 15 min

Its a 14mm nut If i remember right. Once you loosen that I'd disconnect the wiring harness to fully remove the fog light which makes it allot easier to unscrew the lens.

So basically I can change the fog lights myself than ?? just get under the car ??
Coz the manual says CONTACT DEALER FOR REPLACEING FOG LIGHTS.....
I bought a pair of lights already........just need to know how to intall it....sounds pretty easy

There's one nut per side that holds the fog lights on a bracket under your car. You should only need 1 wrench & a Philips head screwdriver to change the fog lights. And your looking @ maybe 30 minutes to complete the job.

I am pretty new at this vividyellow....thanks for the info.
Just one thing.......how can I get under the car ?? I dont think I can use the jack and jack the front.

Try this then.. I just checked this out on mine, from the front bumper directly under the fog lights its about 12" to the back of the mounting bolt/nut. The bolt is dead center with the fog light, the bolt points towards the back of the car. You'll have to stick you hand/arm up into the open space around the black plastic cover thats attached to the under side of the bumper.

okay...so like you said.....
1 NUT and one wiring harness....take those 2 out and I can replace it......this is final.....

Plus 2 Philips head screws on each side of the lights, its what holds the lens in..

the factory lights have maybe a 6 inch wiring harness attached to them which plugs in. Disconnecting the plug will allow you to totally remove the fog light, allowing you room. You could leave it plugged in but unscrewing the lens could be tough & you'll run the chance of making scratches on the bumper.

It's a lot easier to do it if you take the 2 phillips screws out on the plastic shield underneath so you can use the wrench better. Other than that I finally figured it out and it didn't even take me a half an hour to replace both bulbs with hyper whites. You'll have to pop loose a plug that holds a connector so that you can pull the fog light assembly out further. You'll see it, though, it's a blue plastic piece that you'll have to push through.
