Just picked up a set of used fog deletes for my MP5. Has anybody installed these? I checked around the forum and could not find a how to thread for them. Any information would be greatly helpful!
THANKS!!
Lou

All you need is 4 screws, 2 per side, that will fit the holes on the backside of the deletes. The install itself is very simple and fast BUT you have to take off the bumper which takes time.

So you do have to take the bumper off....I did not know that, thanks for the info xDJ DUBx!

i did it without taking off the bumper... and there are three screws for each delete

but it is way easier to take off the bumper and put them on...

not to long but very stressful with the bumper attached... you will need a very short screwdriver or something that swivels like it did...

it would probably be way easier to take off the bumper... the bumper isn't hard to take off at all

I was kind of hoping not to have take my bumper off, the person who owned the car before me must have bumped somebody hard enough to break the clip that holds the bumper to the frame on the pass. side. It hangs down like 1/4 inch on that side, it's not too noticeable, I should get it fixed just have not got around to it yet. I just don't want to screw it up more than it already is by taking the bumper off to put these fog light deletes in. Maybe i'll post a pic so you guys can see what I mean.

you can buy the clip from most autoparts stores... but then again im not sure on how extensive the damage is

agreed! if i had to do it again, i'd take the bumper off, seeing that i've had it off about a dozen times and taking it on and off is so easy now!

Here's a couple pic of what i'm talking about

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it is the piece I think it is, you'll need a new headlight.
