Focus RS8, What are the possibilities for the P5?

Has anybody seen the new focus RS8 kit from ford racing? I wonder if that could be made to fit our car? I would think so, but not really sure.

doubt it...totally different chassis from the P5. you'd have to get more custom stuff to make the rear axle work w/ the new longitudinal tranny and engine

I just read about it in the latest issue of Motor Trend. Kugel did a V8 Focus a few years ago, but it got horrible #s. I'm glad to see that Ford Racing was able to get the RS8 to keep up with the Gallardo (for the most part).

I'll scan the article later so you all can read it, but I have to say (being a past fan of the Focus) that the RS8 is hot. It has the RS body kit & interior (AWD turbo Focus in Europe) & 3 piece OZ Superleggeras. The article isn't even on the MT website yet, so I think these are the only official pics available.

That's the prototype model...the one MT tested looks twice as good.

That's what the article is all about...I think I'd take the Focus just to be different. I see Gallardos about once a month here in FL.

Id defenitely take the focus. I dont need a car that will make everybody look at me. And imagine the surprise you could put on people's faces with the RS8

exactly ... id be scared to leave a lambo anywhere where as you can pretty much leave the focus downtown on the side of the street and find it intact when you'll come back

and the lambo is still 80,000$ more lol but damn .... 100,000$ for a focus ? i never thought it could get that expensive. very impressive numbers though

If it was this Focus, I guarantee that at least the wheels would be gone & possibly the seats too.

If you want to see an expensive Focus, I know that Cosworth custom makes AWD turbo Foci (not the RS) for sale in Europe that cost a fortune.

ever seen the runaway in stockholm videos ? The one with the cosworth and supra was nice
