FMIC question

My next mod is going to be an FMIC for sure.
Im just curious as to what the largest size I could use (without being overkill).
Also I havent spoken with my exhaust guy about this (he also made my CAI), but im wondering if the piping is going to be a problem or will it be relitevly easy to fabricate and install?

Aren't you the same guy on SvA? Anyw on topic, break out the ruler and start measuring. :)
Yes, that would be me and your from SvA too i assume ;)
So no one has put on a front mount?
I geuss i'll bust out the ruler :)

i have a question about my 03 msp.... i put a K&N Filter on it(not the drop in one). The mass air sensor is still on fine, but i plugged the air temp. sensor in the rubber end of the filter. My idle seems to drop sometimes and i feel the car shudder. Why is that? Also, Ive noticed when i full throttle it, it feels like its hitting a fuel cut, then kicks back in again...

FMIC

Before you start measuring how much space you have to put a gigantic FMIC, figure out if it is plausible. meaning:

measure how much pressure you will lose, and find out the Efficiency of the cooling effect on the intake charge with the IC. you may be doing more harm then good.

Bigger does not always mean better.

that happens to my friends BEGI turbo kit sometimes. the reason for that is there might not be enough fuel pressure, and in sensing that it tells the ECU to provide more fuel, creating a sort of fuel cut off, then correcting itself. or you may be revving to high.

if you're flowing more air, then you're going to need to flow more fuel b/c the computer is still looking for that certain ratio. sounds like it's trying to compensate for the added air in the mix.
