FMIC Question

RUnning the frount mount intercooler, will you throw a cel? or is it mandatory to run standback or acessport? and your favorite choice in brand. Not interested in Top Mount upgrade..Go big or go HOME!!(humpleg)

no it will not throw an CEL and no you will not need a ap or standback

I like mine...I have a turboxs fmic. But for the price I would go with the cobb or cpe over the turboxs. I bought mine before both that I mentioned were out.

But no CEL and I don't have a standback or a AP. Just intake/bc/mapclamp/testpipe/fmic...no check engine lights at all

i have a turboxs one, i threw a cel at first, (throttle coupler was loose) i do recommend getting a tune or something to manage your ems at sometime. i dynoed the other day and i had a knock and boost cut and fuel cut. UGH it was a mess. thankfully cobb brought out the 1.01 map for the ms cai and tbe and fmic. should do the trick.....all i need is the moolah for the AP.

word is...that the ap doesnt do s***...besides clear codes n s***....hp wise its pointless...mayb to runt he fmic wud b strait but otherwise waste of money u kno..hmmm...thanks for ur info tho bro appreciate alot

What are you talking about? The new maps on the accessport made a big improvement. It gives like 15 or so peak hp(based on the one dynograph Ive seen) but the area under the curve is way greater.

Depending on the FMIC design........sure you could....... if you increase VE too much and its out of limits of the computers ability to tune, it will toss a CEL.
