Corksport FTW. Replaces ALL the restrictions in your intake train AND gives you a better intake as well without any hydrolock worries.

And the CS has the wrong diameter MAF housing! yay! lol...

doh! just read that the issues with the CS have all been resolved!
My bad...

i thought they did fix the intake problem and the option for recirc mode also? i just asked the questions a few days ago, they were all answered.

for me it was a toss up between the new cp-e system and corksport.... cp-e has alot of data supporting their fmic as the #1 on the market. but i do like the corksport design. just not sure on intake temps with the filter being right on top of the motor.

The company i am workign with for products on speeds. has mine right nwo fo ranother kit.
HE just dosent have all the overhead as other compaines, so his pricing can be brought down alot!!! being designed to use a turbosmart, or stock recirc valve.. (use the adapters for others. and he is still thinking of a introductory of FMIC with a turbosmart or package deal.. (price range i think was to be 400-600) for a direct bolt in, no cutting so easy to remove if youy have to go back to the dealer.

I say go with a custom setup....or I may be selling my turboxs soon. I may need money soon, but if I do another thread will be up about that....

But with my turboxs i'm seeing charge temps 20-30 degrees lower then my topmount via scan gauge. I love it, there is very very minimal lag. The fitment and instalition is good and easy.

What kind of core would he be using? When will this be available?

When installing the CP-E FMIC you don't have to pull off the lower rad. hose as the instructions say(to drain it). There is a drain plug on the driver's side that faces the back of the car. Also when removing the stock power steering cooler a small flat head screwdriver really helps get the hoses' off, along with some PB Blaster or WD-40.
When mounting the IC, the bottom bracket will need an extra 5-6 washers as the bolts they provide are a bit too long. That's all I remember right now. My buddy can chime in if I forgot to mention anything.

I forgot to mention everything in the kit is quality. From the design to the fitment. The only thing that needed a little revising was the instructions. A few parts could be a little more clear.

I definitely want the CS FMIC... I'm kind of a CS fangirl LOL... the exhaust will probably come first though and I may end up going with a custom job FMIC
