FMIC Ideas/Help

I'm looking to install a FMIC. Have any of you already done so? I'm looking for information regarding tube size, material, and routing. I've been looking at a Spearco race intercooler at an overall dimmension of 23x6x3 and 2.5" inlets. I've also peeked interest in the Samco silicone hoses to route all air (into the turbo, to the IC and to the TB). When looking at these hoses, I don't know what a Hump hose is and what to use it for.

Can give me specific dimenssions, routing information, and products used in our FMIC setup? Pics would be nice as well.

We have a FMIC kit for the P5 and MP3 which fits without cutting the frame at all.

It comes with chrome plated piping, silicone hoses, hump hoses, blow off valve casting with a choice of small HKS or the HKS SSQV.
A hump hose is just a coupler with a small bump to absorb vibrations of the engine being transmitted to the body.

Do you sell the FMIC kit sepretly from your turbo setup? Please PM me.

I was originally hoping to put a kit together due to $$. Anyone else have information?

I would be concerned about fitment issues with the Hiboost kit unless you use their manifold and turbo as well. Mind you their kit is awesome, it isn't that there is a problem, but their piping is set up for their turbo. If your turbo outlet is in a different spot you'll need a different pipe than what they would otherwise supply. Now the intercooler will be just fine as will the pipe from the intercooler to the TB (unless your manifold and turbo get in the way somehow). So I would just worry about the turbo to intercooler piping. Hope that makes sense. (Piping is going to be an issue when you're putting together any home-made kit. . .finding someone who can make the pipes for you is probably the "quickest" and most trouble free way.) Just my thoughts on the matter.
