Flyin' Miata P5 exhaust

Does anyone know anything about these? I ran across a really good deal on them and I just wanted to know a bit more about them.

Never heard of them at all. Where are you getting this good deal from?

Flyin' Miata, the aftermarket Miata parts developer, used to dabble in Proteges. The Flyin' Protege forum is now scheduled to close and the Protege parts haven't been made in a while. Just a guess but you may found some leftovers.

JoshP5, you're right. It is Flyin' Miata. It's the Cat-back exhaust a shop is selling. Brand new for $350. He said the same thing, that they are not being made anymore.

Does anyone know if $350 is a good deal?

for a new catback, that's sounds great. racing beat is what, 500?

my axleback for the wrx cost 425...so, yeah. i think that's a pretty good deal.

Does anyone have an interest in these? Dude says he has 3 or 4 or them. Just thought I should pass that on.

I'd be interested, as long as it's not one of the coffee can ones. I'd like a nice but reasonably stealth one.

I used to have miata that I put the Flying Miata Dual Turbo Exhaust on, It sounded really good. Very deep and throaty.

I want to say it ran about $500 new. Very high quality but also quite heavy.

Do you have a link to them

$350? I thought I saw they had them for $250 on the Mile High Mazdas forum. But now, interestingly enough, that thread seems to be missing from that board.

That would obviously be a much better deal, who is that guy/contact?

As far as missing threads on milehighmazdas.com, there is one of the mods over there who deletes threads quite often. I've noticed a pattern with the guy, when he is not right or people debate with him, he will delete the thread. Kind of weird.

He's the Miata guy from Grand Junction that works at Flying Miata. I'd just call FN directly and see if they still have any.
