I picked up a Westinghouse 32" HD LCD from best buy for $479.

so far it's been great, very good picture, VGA input and it has a built-in HD tuner so I picked up an extra 306 digital channels and 2 HD for free. I'll post some pics later today.

Sony is researching FED because it is the flat-panel technology that comes closest to matching the picture of a CRT.

thanks for the info... with that being said, i dont know how smart it would be for me to invest $6K on two lcd tvs mid next year if the sed tvs are to come out soon after... hopefully the price of lcd drops and the picture quality gets better.

just read in the paper last week about the biggest plasma tv made to date. i think it was something like 112" and was only going for $70K each! i think ill buy 3 of them!! hehe
