Hey Guys..

Anyone here get their flash in montreal, quebec. I've been to Mazda Spinelli and they say it was done in december but I still fell the hesitation. Although my boost gauge says 7 psi when at wot and it stays there . I don't fell it in first but 2nd and 3 rd gear at around 5000 rpm is where it hesitates and then at 5900 - 6600 rpm it seems ok . Can anyone help please.

Hey bro...
Im from Quebec and my dealer also said to me that they did the flash and I believe them 'cause I tested an MSP before buying mine and I can assure you that without the FLASH the car hesitates like HELL:bs:!!!!!!!!!!

So if your hesitation isnt that big, its normal because even when you car is flashed, you still feel a little hesitation because the ECU switch to open-loop when youre at WOT at higher RPM !!!!!

Your car have been flash before you take it out the dealer... Its normal !

Thanks Guys...

But the my car seems to hesitate quite too much for my taste. Also I noticed that I can't get more that 330 - 360 kms on a tank and I put in Petro 94 octane . This is a huge tank at 55 liters and with the price of gas these days this is really bad fuel economy and I only have 5500 kms

It s normal too... My car have 11 000km and the most km i have done with my car is 515 km. When you drive at more than 110 km/h, the speed need more gaz... TURBO CAR = GAZ ;)

Watching my tank too.

Under 700KM on the car, but since I refilled 300KM on the first 1/2 tank.
Will have too see how this goes.

Paying a visit to the dealership this week. On the list of todo's is the flash. I have no mod plans for the car so I figure why not. That lag really pisses me off. I hear it trying to go, but no zoom. Still most amazing feeling when it does come on.

Love this car.

I seem to notice a hint of lag sometimes when accelerating hard around 4K RPM or so. It goes away pretty quick once the turbo kicks in though. Hasn't realy bothered me too much.

As for mileage.... Yeah, I noticed that when you get on it hard, the car starts sucking down the gas like a mofo! But hey! I wanted a car with just a little more than your average econobox zip....and this is the penalty I guess.

Would I be right in assuming that you must spank that car at every opportunity to get only 330-360 kliks from a tank? (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)(thumb)

Personally, I tend to average between 430-450 kms to a tank....mostly in rush hour and city driving - with the occasional totally unprovoked, gratuitous stomp on the go pedal whenever the opportunity to embarass some arises!

this here explains why you can get more than 350km / tank. I did well over 500 when i went to Wagner's open house ... steady speed all the way (~110km/h)

it all depends on how you use the gaz pedal

can't help you with the flash though ... mine was probably done cuz i dont really feel anything unusual. But i would suggest Albi Mazda. they've been great so far with all the little problems i had

Occational sprited drives, other wise still taking it easy.

So far I've manged to get over 300KM on the first 1/2 tank.
And that is a combines, highway, city, cruising and turbo.
If I can squeeze 500-600 out of the tank I'll be happy.

the 1st half is always bigger than the 2nd one ... be careful
i guess its due to how the gaz gauge is setup

sometimes i get 300 on the 1st half and do 250 or less on the 2nd half without really changing my driving.

i do rush hour and city driving with that occasional boost crazyness every once in a while (once a day maybe ... lol)

Well tonight I filled up, I had 500KM and a 1/4 tank left Or what ever the last line before empty is. I figure I could have squeezed another 50km's out of it, but did not want to try.

At any rate I'm please.

Love this car no matter what heheh
