Fishdonotbounce's (potential) housewarming meet at casa de Evan, Phen, and now Ivan!!

So as some of you may already know, I will be moving in with Evan and Phen since I'm starting a new job on Monday. Someone hinted at the idea of a housewarming get together so I thought I'd see who all would be able to make it. It's short notice but it's not going to be anything special at all. So here's what I'm thinking.

We can just have a chill day to hang around and shoot the s***. If anyone wants to bring cornhole or a football or anything at all, I think it would be cool. Kevin and Evan might be doing some work on Kevin's car that day so we can potentially make it a small install meet. By that I mean SMALL mods like swapping in a new front strut bar or something. You're not gonna be rebuilding your engine in the driveway lol.

If people want food, maybe we can ask each person to bring something like a bag of chips and if enough people can come and Phen allows the use of the almighty grill, maybe we can have some hamburgers or something. Anyway, enough jibber jabber. Here's the details.

I've gotta back out. I forgot about an event I have going on that night. I always feel like such an ass when I say I can do something and then back out. Whatever, anyways...

My store manager is leaving our marketplace to assume operations at another marketplace. He has been with us for 10 years now. So we are holding a surprise dinner for him. I really cannot miss that, as he has been a leader and mentor in my life--the only boss of the only job that I have had!

Good thing is, he might be taking me with him as the lowest-level manager. Meaning, pay increase! Score! But I do not want to jinx it or get my hopes up yet.

Sorry Ivan, I really wanted to make it out and to Superfly with you. This weekend is shot already, LOL.

No problem at all man. It was a last minute sort of thing anyway so I wasn't expecting much of anyone to be able to show. Good luck on getting that promotion though! I'll be around for quite some time so we'll get a chance to all hang out. The 4th annual Stephen's cookout is coming up in a few months at the very least lol.
