first three gauge pod pillar.

Yeah I used to live in Jacksonville FL and they dont have alot of stuff that Cali has. Damn I miss BONOS BBQ and Sonnys. I hate you

AHAHAHAHAHA, hmmm i just woke up from a nap...shhhhh dont tell anyone...and now i'm hungry...thanks man. now i must spend more money to fix my apetite.

hey john you ever get pics of the close ups on that pillar? specially where you have the screw in them.

heres the paint i used. its from home depot. works fine and is a perfect match.

i think that paint cost me either $3 or $5. cant remember. heres the only pic i have of it painted. never took one of it on the car for some reason (and its in the shop so i cant take another one till it gets back)

Paint it semi-gloss black and get the silver-lipped autometer ultra-lite gauges...they look very similar to a stock set with the DaveB brushed rings. I'll take soem pics if you'd like

yea thatd be great. i actually just got in my a/f gauge after about 4weeks now i need the pod. and they are Ultralite Autometer gauges so i have the exact setup as you just described minus the pod pillar.

Here you go...I think they're a pretty good match during the day. My only complaint about the Ultra-Lite is that they night lighting pretty much sucks. The little red booties they come with are a close match to stock, but they fade fairly quickly.

Do you find the higher gauges on that pillar to be a little distracting? I opted for the 2-gauge piller because I found the top gauge to be a little close to my eyes. I'm either going to add some gauges to the spot above the glove box (picked up a spare at a junkyard) or build a fiberglass pod on top of the dash like a lot of WRX etc have.

The Top One is A/F Narrow so not really important but still visible. he bottom three are perfectly in close view.

thanks for the pics. i'm working something out with horsepowerfreaks vendor now. big help.
