Yes I also can help with EU03 currently running of latest EU03_10028
IF your CX-9 is above that number then you can not update until a later version is released by Mazda.

EU03 is for all of Europe and UK and Australia and NZ.
Changelog is not yet available but will be similar to NA03, unfortunately EU0* anything is always about 6 months behind.

Does anyone know how long this update should take to complete? I can’t help but feel a little paranoid returning to this dealer as I overheard the service advisors at the dealer I went to overtalking how rude it was for another customer who bought their car elsewhere get their car serviced there with them. Well, my situation was basically the same as this dealer is much closer to me than the one I purchased from. (Mainly because my lease return was another brand and I had to find a Mazda dealer who had the other brand in their dealer network.) At any rate, I can’t help but wonder if they thought and treated me differently by keeping me there almost 3 hours as I had to be the one to get up and ask about the status of my car as it was in fact done and sitting outside.

Hello, please check your inbox, I PM you about a software download request. Thanks.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but what does the software update option do in the settings if it's not automatically updating the firmware? Does anyone know because I've never seen an update applied and I've had my car almost 2 years.

Mazda so far has never done a OTA update, if you want the latest this is how it's done.

Thanks. Having done a couple of updates on the old Mazda connect system, I hoped the new one would be easier to update. I guess not...
Even though you still currently have to manually update the Infotainment system, it's far easier than in the past.

Same, how's your voice recognition. Our 22s vr has deteriorated to horrible now and it only has 5.5k miles. I took to dealer asking for an update to fix, and they said there wasn't an issue. If yours works better with new firmware, im taking it back.

I have a 2021 CX9 with 11038 how can I update?

Mazda SA-006/23 was issues in January, 2023 and talks about TPMS displaying actual tire pressures at each wheel in the 2023 CX-9. I took my car to the shop for the first oil change earlier this week and asked about tire pressure display and this SA. After having the car for an hour I was told they updated the system to 11048 (was 11046) per Mazda Tech Line but it did not fix the problem. They then said all new CX-9's actually have a GEN6 systems and the pressure display will not work. Can you shed any light on this?
Also can you send me a note on the DIY firmware upgrade procedure for future reference.
Thanks

Question: I have a NA 2018 CX9. I recently updated my firmware from 59.XX to 73.00.335C. All is good except the BT which can keep rebooting some of the time. Works then doesnt work. Is it possible to re-install the firmware again?

Hello, I have messaged you.
Hi, I have a North American 2023 CX-9 that the dealer updated from 11046 to 11048 a few days ago. Mazda tech line guys told them to do the update to fix the TPMS per SA-006/23 posted January 2023. It didn't work and Mazda then said the CX-9 still has the GEN6 system. Doesn't make a lot of sense but without information some dealers are slow to help.
ASH8 - Can you send me the information needed to do future updates? Thank you
