firefox problem

ever since last night, firefox has been having this random window pop up every once in awhile. it says:

Error connecting to broadband network. Connecting through WAN Miniport (PPPOE). Error 678: The remote computer did not respond.

It tries to redial, and nothing. I hit cancel and it just goes away and the net is fine again for another 10 or so minutes until it comes back. My problem is im trying to buy a plane ticket and everytime I hit purchase this thing pops up and wont let the purchase go through.

Someone please help me! i need to buy this ticket tonight

ran adaware and updated norton and nothing.

tried IE and still same thing. tries to dial up a connection

thanks, that part fixed the problem, now its just not letting me buy the ticket because usairways is being stupid
