Finished 2nd out of 7 today...(now with movie)
And I have gotten used to the tires, I was at the limit for most of the 2nd and 3rd run but couldn't put together a complete clean run. I hit a cone on the 3rd so the 2nd was my fastest, and on the 2nd I left a few second out there in 2 key spots. But I'm getting there, new car, new tires, by the time my region starts (May 25th) I should be used to the car. I of course will never stop learning and improving, that process continues forever. And for those of you debating R compound tires, the top 3 in my class were running them 1st place, Hoosiers, 2nd place (me) Kumho's, ditto 3rd place. First place went to one of the FLR region's instructors in a 1985 Celica GTS.
