I finally got my Black Mica MS3 GT last night after waiting what seemed like an eternity.
Here is my .02 and review o fthis amazing piece of machinery.
I started out with a cruise through the city. Handling was nice and smooth even on some quiter rough streets. I was skeptical of the choice for 18" wheels, but it obviously it doesn't make for any rougher ride than 17" wheels. The torque steer was a bit of a new experience for me, I have never had a car that produces more than about 150hp or torque, but it is VERY manageable and you hardly notice after driving the car for a while. I proceeded to the interstate. The on-ramp was two lane and I easily overtook all vehicles in the other lane, only to look down and see that I was aproaching 100mph! It didn't even feel like I was going that fast. It handled the curve of the ramp like nothing I have ever driven. I played cat and mouse for a while on the interstate, turned around and did some high speed lane changes and maneuvering without any issue.
The interior is great. It deos not give the impression of being cheap like others have implied. The seats are comfortable. Everything seems to be well designed. The Bose is a loud, clear system that is just what I will enjoy. Those of you looking for thumpin' bass, the Bose is not for you.
This car is like a surgeon's knife - it will do what you want, when you want - with extreme precision.
I debated for a long time. To mod or not to mod - that was the question. I have decided that I do not want to mod this car except for maybe some window tint. I think that I may have 'outgrown' the modding stage of my life, but still appreciate the desire to mod.
Maybe eventually I will post pics, if I get time. My next two months are booked solid at work. In the mean time, check out Jay's pics. He has a Balck Mica Gt too and mine looks the same.
