Finally got my rims on...

DANG!! Just called Wheelmax to ask what's up with my wife's new tire/wheel package. It's been a week since I placed the order and they still haven't shipped it yet. They said the July 4th special they offered was really popular and got swampped with orders so all shipments are backed up. They said they'll ship them out next Tuesday or something. I hate when I have to wait.. I need instant gratification.(bang)

I ordered mine on the Friday before the 4th, and they shipped out the 6th. I also hate waiting. Hopefully I will ge tthem today or tomorrow.

That's BS. How come you got yours to ship out 2 days later and I'm still waiting on mine. That sucks.

I ordered them before you. i called and spoke to them Tuesday, and the guy told me they got swamped with orders. I was lucky to get them to be shipped. Oh, and they are not even here yet. USPS sucks. over 2 days to ship from Miami to Alachua? I could have driven down and picked them up if I had time and tire tread.

I got them today, packed well. They installed fine, all lugs worked well. The only problem is the monkey that did the balancing need to be executed. Will be calling them on Monday and letting them know they are messed up,a nd will then go to a good tire shop for balancing.

If it's not the lug nuts it's the balance...
At least I didn't get a bad balance as well.

Looks good man... but strangely familiar as well.
;)

I checked the air pressure today. 50-55lbs in the tires! Lowered to 40 lbs. Going to a local tire shop for balancing tomorrow after work.

yeah, it does look familiar!

I called wheelmax, and they reimburse if you must rebalance the tires, which is a good thing. They cover up to 80 bucks. I had them balanced with a higher tech balancer, and the wheels are balanced, all is well. Now I gotta fax the bill to wheelmax for a credit.

Their customer service is apathetic and lacking people skills. Friendliness is frowned upon there. And WTF is up with their ghetto 8 track mix tape hold music. Yuck.

40 is still too high!
for every inch bigger rim you get over oem wheel size, you raise the OEM tire pressure ~2lbs.

Max psi is 44. I usually go within 4 or 5 lbs.
