Finally! Finally; I drove an RX-8 today! The 238hp version w/6 speed. Nice!

Do I think it needs more power? Sure! But; it was sweet. The closest ratio tranny I have ever shifted. The driving position was fantastic.

I haven't driven an STI, EVO, or 350Z yet

I love the traction control, you can slide like a fool and it keeps you from driving off the road, it's very easy to drive fast.

I've had a lot of seat time in these, and they do fly, the absolute best thing about it is the 9000RPM redline...all cars should be so lucky.

Yep, that's still one of my favorite cars to drive. I've driven them all, and the RX-8 is the most comfortable and fun car to drive. Add about 50hp and I'm on it like a fat kid on a cupcake.

Sadly I don't see that happening if I showed up with my P5 But they have offered me a MS Miata when I drove in just to look at the Wagon 6. Dealers are evil, they keep trying to get me to buy something I WANT, but can't afford :'(

As an owner of both and MP5 and one of the first RX-8's, the P5 is just, well, a station wagon now...

Love the RX8. Keep the tunes off and just rev the crap outta that engine. Best music ever

I love Mazdas, but the RX-8 feels like ass compared to a 350Z. Gotta wait till the supercharged MS RX-8 comes out. Then, it should be better.

i drove the RX8 at REVITUP, but it felt all crampt to me. I drove it up to a top speed of a whopping 25-30mph. I didn't feel the full potential that the vehicle had to offer

Ok, so my family likes nice cars. I have the speed, my brother has an EVO, his friend has an STI, and my dad has an Rx-8. Ive driven them all and i gotta say my favorite in the looks dept the speed or the 8, but there is nothing like the feel of the evo under full boost. I dont feel cramped at all in the 8 but im a small person.

I think I am ready for a sports car (again) next around. I loved the feeling driving the RX-8.

The thing is; if you get one loaded with all the options, it is near the price of the 350Z. That makes for a tough call. The one, I drove yesterday, was $28,000.00. So; it was missing some options, for sure.
