i dropped my car off last night at the night drop.
with a list of what i wanted them to do,
tighten e-brake
engine sounds like crap
sway bay loud clunking noise
seal the back door (which i paid for and was never done)
gearshift notchy going into 2nd
and thats it
i called today to see the status and the guy tells me
the bushings are on order
sealed back doors
there was a heat sheild making the engine sound like s***.
here's the hicker, the notchy grearshift is a result of a preformance tranz.WHAT
what the **** kind of awnser is that i thought the tranz was the same from protege to mp3. am i wrong? i am e-mailing mazda usa to find out.
i feel these f ers are giving me a line of s***.
like that one dude who was told the syncros have to wear-in. WTF
 
To answer your question, yes the tranny is the same for all the protege's including the mp3, p5, etc... From what I've read about the trannies and what I've experinced in my ES seems like it's a common problem. Look in the Mazda Pro. Performance section. I think that there are two or three post's in there.
 
rust proofing
they put little clips in the holes at the bottom of every door when they do this . however they seem to of fogot my back doors twice , fuckers.
