Few pics of my Spool Install

Turbo P5
Couldn't find anywhere where Terry has posted pics of the new piping, so I thought I would. The stainless steels looks awsome and the welds look way better than the old ceramic coated pipes.
I will be receiving the new Stage X Manifold on Monday, and I will post a pic as soon as I get it. Also posted a pic of the intercooler installed without the bumper since I could never find a pic of it.

Greddy's New Turbo Timer and the New Spec II Boost Controller. Damn they look good together. I hate mismatched crap.

i love the turbo timer and boost controller. where you gonna put them? What did they cost ya?

i like the piping better, but i dont dig the burnt looking welds. Good luck with the install looks like your trying to build a beast!!

Thanks, I hope for it to be a beast when done.:D

Turbo Timer $79 and the Boost Controller was $355, both From Spool ITS.

I am hoping to get them side by side in the pocket behind the shifter. i have some ABS plastic to make a surround with.

Did you get the mani yet?
In regards to the welding on stainless. Whenever you weld stainless it gets a discolored rainbow look to it. You can get rid of this by introducing the stainless to a special electrofied acid wash method.

Section welding in Japan is really big and Japan and the big boys like Signal and top secret utilize stainless and choose to leave the rainbow look. I really dig it but I would like to get your opinions on it. Take into consideration that when the pipes are subjected to the heat in the engine bay they will change color more and match the welds more............comments, bitches, suggestions or compliments would be nice:)

Yep, the stainless steel is badass.

The Mani wont be here untill Monday:(

I have a ton of electronics to put in anyway to keep me busy, and all these damn pressure lines, good god man.:D

Terry, I need to get a hold of you. Check your email brother.

Glad you like the race looking pipes,
Just a quick thing here, we offer ceramic coating on our manifolds now, Bill I sent you yours with out the ceramic coating because we were still in the process of negotiating costs and quantity's with our new coaters. If you want we can send you out another manifold coated in a week and you send us back that one, It looks really nice coated. We just got back some samples and it looks more trick than jet coating.

So for the next few months we will offer free ceramic coated manifolds on our turbo kits;)

Bill I checked my mail and no emails:(
Did you email me at spoolinfo@aol.com?

Man, to tell you the truth, I have no idea where that email went to.(uhm) I emailed you again at the above address.

So what is the difference in not ceramic coated and ceramic coated. Its for heat transfer right. Is the one you sent me stainless, cause I like the look of that. Whichever one you recommend brother.

just a tidbit to add to that... not sure about Signal but most of Top Secret's pipes are section welded titanium :D (i.e. newest DC5 Integra airbox pipe). really nice work. got to see Top Secret 1 in person and listen to Makoto-san talk a little about it.

Terry, how much to get new piping? The turbo to intercooler piece looks WAY better than what I've got. . .and the stainless look kicks ass! In my opinion.

Ummm. . . did the wastegate get moved way up onto the third runner and farther from the collector? Not sure I like that part, but I will say the thing looks pretty sweet. Are they equal length now? Cool, very cool.

Beavis: yeah, it looks like the wastegate was moved. I agree w/ you on the placement though...the closer to the collector, the better.

I THINK the ones we have are equal length, and this one probably is too.
