Feeler Thread: Forge dual-piston BOV

I have a stock intake, don't worry, lol.

I do have a K&N drop-in filter though, so I'm cooler than you (kiss)

How do you take off that clamp that holds on the vacuum line on the stock BPV? I am with Goku and we are trying to do this the right way without breaking anything. Thanks
Peace

i used a flat head screwdriver to pop that clip off the vacuum hose...i couldn't figure out any other way...then used a zip tie to clamp it back down...i shouldn't defin hold..but i do have concerns...if anyone else has a better way..let us know

ok we used a pair of pliers and ended up just slipping it off...

This BOV looks/feels great. It is the only performance mod i have on my otherwise stock car and its effect is extremely noticeable. It feels like quicker and more uniform throttle response. Also it sounds great, even w/ the stock airbox. Strictly whoosh sounds from this MSP! Great product and fast shipping, couldn't ask for more!

Yeah we just used some pliars and were careful to twist it off..it popped right off. Install went well and after driving my buddy jons car(goku) with it on there I noticed a huge diff over my stock MSP...I am def interested in buying this now...

^^ Yeah what he said haha^^

I wish I could be loving mine, but I didn't get mine today and I live in Las Vegas. You would think that someone in the states would get it before someone in Canada, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.... Although I can't wait either.

I just used a different vaccum line.

Did any of you cut your stock pipe that you put the plug in? I didn't want to so I had to force the BOV to sit on top of it, just incase I ever have to switch back to the stocker.

And for all the people wondering if you need a bracket; you don't. It seems perfectly fine hanging there, although mine is sitting on top of the plug. If that's confusing, you'll be able to see in my pics, but my cousin is in bed so I can't get them hosted right now.

Every thing pops off with alittle TLC! The biggest pain is the BPV hoses...use some twisting action to get it loose and pop it right off. If you dont know use pliers to get the stock clamps off the BPV and you can just tug to get the Wastegate line off.

I can't wait for mine to get here...

Coming from Florida, I imagine that I'll be the last one to get mine. I feel your pain, TheJohnny, us Left Coasters just got a wait a little while on this one.

Yeah, what's up with the West Side (west coast) haters...... I would have paid a bit extra to of had it here yesterday... just kidding, I can't put it on until later anyway, I'm going to put it on with my NOLOGY wires.

I have installed the BOV and the car is hesistating, jerking and stalling huge if anything BUT wide open throttle is given.
Any thoughts to what is occuring?
Picture is as follow on BOV installed, sorry for the messy bay:

Make sure your clamps are tight and hooked up properly. My only other advise is to check your spring and make sure its the green spring. Stalling...maybe but you should not be hesitating or jerking. Mine stalls after shifting into Neutral from wide throttle and hard acceleration (at high rpms).

Someday, my BOV is gonna get here.... Heres hoping for tomorrow!

Got my BOV yesterday and put it on. Having some problems with hesitation, going to try and run a different vacuum line to it and see if that works. I also just installed a new filter on the end of the stock setup like many have done, this works fine when running with stock BPV but when I put on the BOV it's a nightmare. Anyway, going outside right now to mess with it, will let you all know what happens with me, going to take it apart first to make sure I've got the green spring.
