good news...finally got my movies. Forge BOV with injen CAI.


There are a few problems with these videos.

• The camera wasnt that great and picked up alot of outside distortion rather then the BOV sound. The BOV sounds louder then the actual video (the mics are pointed to the side.
• the engine shot was by far the worst video. It barely picked up the BOV. It made my car sound like a turbo Deisel I will try to get better videos another time.
• my personal recommendation is the "drive by" video. The turkey actually flutters a bit longer if you completely let off the gas (which I didnt do). So thats why it may sound stock. I will be comverting my CAI into a SRI very soon so stay tuned to see if that has any affect on sound.
• Its louder...the videos doesnt really show the true sound of the BOV.

anyone know if this is a clamp on or needs a weld on flange to mount? any pics of one uninstalled?

I know that it has a hose fitting on the end of it, what size I'm not sure. I'm going to experiment and put it before the BPV coming off the charge pipe. I'm going to run both, then just the BOV and see what happens. I'm going to run a dedicated vacuum line for the BOV and leave the stocker alone. I'll let you all know what happens once I get it and get this going.

The kit comes with everythign you need to install the BOV. It should not take that much time. I could do it in 10 min. If you want pics check the 1st page or check my sig.

Sure the driveby vid is probally the best one but maybe I can transfer them to you via email or AIM (best option since they are a couple MB). Just shoot a PM back

ups just delivered mine 2 minutes ago...quick question though..
does the kit just include bov+ 1 coupler+ 2 clamps +one end cap thingy, just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything before i get going on installing this..
got t bolt clamps by the ups guy today too!!(flash)
if one of u more experienced guys wanted to do a real quick how to (even though it looks really easy) it will be much appreciated..thanks guys

I got mine put on, pretty easy to do. It's not very loud, but it does sound good. I haven't stalled yet either, but the RPM's do drop down, but the car always catches itself.

I have pictures, but I have to wait for my cousin to host them, I'll have them up later tonight.

Oh yeah, shipping was pretty damn quick.
