to wide lol
225/45/17

maybe if i had 16s

fail..... lol

you can never have a tire too wide that fits.

Correct me if I'm wrong but 245 is gonna look chunkier on a 16" right?

for 245 width your only option in 16 is the hankook, and to my knowledge they are no longer made. 245/45/16

thats what they look like, lil chunky but i prefer that look/setup over my 215/40/17 anyday

Gonna post pics up when i get my FDs on too. Im going the 225/50 route aswell. Dunlop Star Specs.

Matt V - I like how they look on ur ride man. (thumb)

Gonna have to agree. Those wheels do look good on your P5 Matt. That Rim/Tire combo goes good together. I am even considering them as the silver would look good on my TG MSP.

Storing your other wheels?

Thanks guys! The MZ3 wheels are actually sold already and will be shipped out when I get my new FD wheel in the mail to put on. When I was getting the tires installed one had such a bad wobble that I couldn't put it on the car which is why I only have two on the front right now.

made some solid progress on the wheels.. just touchups to go, and they'll be ready for their clear, mounting, and some abuse.

I just JB welded a pin sized hole that was on the inside of the one of the wheels. It was letting a decent amount of air out, I hope it holds it.

Man....you bought a some trashed rims! Get that repaired. JB weld doesn't fix anything.

He's right about getting it repaired. If there's a hole, then that means there might be microfractures that are invisible to the human eye. This also means that at any point, your wheel might fail catastrophically. If it does so at 65-75 mph on the highway or worse yet on a curvy road, bye bye matt. Go get that checked out man.

Oh but JB weld fixes a LOT of things. Just not good for this occasion.

You'll notice the reinforced and non-reinforced versions are slightly different colors (alternating). Oh well.
