i need help on how to install the joe's FCD . the instructions were messed up in the packaging. pics would be a really big help. Thanks guys! (flash)

sorry no pics with the instructions. Instructions are pretty easy. You'll need tap into eithr the MAF sensor pin-B at the sensore or into pin 88 on the ECU. Then you'll need to ground the unit. Doesn't matter which wire you use for the ground or MAF signal. All thats left is to get a good stable vacuum soucre.

What boost should you run? What has been accepted by most members of the board as 'safe' for daily driving? These are questions that you need to research yourself. Upping the boost too much, or without other mods (like colder spark plugs) will cause irreversable damage to your motor. To start out, try 9psi; this is for both flashed and unflashed ECU's. There is an airflow based fuel/spark cut (when the MAF gets maxed out), and members boosting over 9psi (or over 8psi in cold weather) are hitting it. A Fuel Cut Defenser gets around this limitation.

Huge Noob Question - FCD=??

FCD - Fuel Cut Disable/Defenser - Disables fuel cut when hitting high boost. Taps into the MAF. After installing this and Fuel Pressure Regulator(FPR), your either gonna have fun or be very sad cause you boosted too much and blew your engine up cause you didn't take the proper precautions to strengthen it.

HERES WHAT I DID. I JUST PUT MINE ON YESTERDAY.. DISCREET TOLD ME TO USE THE MIDDLE WIRE ON THE MAF. ANY OF THE TWO WIRES ON THE FCD WILL WORK. THE OTHER WIRE ON THE FCD GOES TO A GROUND. I PUT MINE ON THE STRUT BAR BOLT.... THE VAC LINE T'S OFF THE MANIFOLD. WORKS GREAT LET ME KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT
