Once i get some pics in the sun you will y i like them, theres alot of flake in the paint and it goes good with the spicy

Did alot to the car yesterday.

Took the turbo apart and cleaned it dam good, sanded down the inlet and outlet to be a lil more smooth

also mocked up the mani and DP that my roommate is going to be making.

When i get the car back together tom. im going to be a lil ricer and run an open DP for a lil bit. Really curious to hear it.

so i lost one of my eyelids today in the turnpike... but i did find a CF hood for 30 bucks. All it needs is to be recleared

I do like the black and i do think it looks better, but i do like the bronze. I have had black rims on the car since i bought it. Wanted to change it up a lil.

Still need to get some better pics and do the other side of the car though lol, was at a rotary all day so and now its raining.

Tom. ill be finishing up the wheels and taking off my turbo mani so my roommate can get the mock up done for the turbo mani setup he is making.

I just think it will clash with the black/orange theme you have going on.

i was in line at a BK drive thru and the guy just drove up next to me ans asked if i wanted it. Was supposed to get it yesterday... the was going to call me when he was done eating Easter dinner. Just figured i could wait till today to call.

So that awesome 30 dollar hood deal just got even better

This is what 60 bucks got me and the guy delivered it to my house.

anybody have a clue about the maker of the hood? The quality of the hood seems to be REALLY good actually and its stamped with there logo and part number.

Just a reclear and it will be golden

recleared the hood today, still need to wet sand it and buff it, but it looks a hell of alot better.

I'm buying some new headlights since mine are the ugly chrome ones and I've been thinking since I will have a spare set maybe I should do something cool to them before I make the swap. I am interested to see what you do, and how much it costs since I would like something that isn't rediculous in price lol.

the hood has Plexiglas covers that go under the vents to keep the rain out, i just didnt put them back in yet. I need to resurface them, they are pretty hazy.

still not completely sure what i want to do, i really want to do a a retro fit. Just worried ill **** them up. I can get GTO projectors all the time at work for free so im hopping i will be able to work with those since there free.

So i have been pondering the idea of swapping my SSAFC for a unichip....

I got the SSAFC so i can tune the car my self, but after a few more bolt ons im pretty much going to be done with performance and putting money towards my FC.

Not really game for spending the money a standalone for my msp and my FC and hooking up two standalones on two separate cars.

So i was thinking a unichip would be a cheap and easy alternative to a standalone. I know i wont be able to tune it, but i since things wont be changing performance wise i wont be needing alot of tunning.

Only thing is can the unichip advance timming? If it can then im sold.

Also anybody know of any quotes on shops that tune unichips?

SSFTC? just use your AFR map, and start tuning your timing map...

edit: nvm, I'm tired.

even if i had the SSFTC it still isnt what i want, you can only retard timing. Which makes the car safer, but my built motor is just laughing at me. Need to advance it a lil and get some more power.
