"Family on the way, need 4 doors"

Yakno, I finally figured out why this statement always bothered the piss out of me. I grew up with two Dodge challengers (not the good ones, circa 1980). Manual tranny on both and 2 doors. Somehow, we managed to all fit inside the car, even though it only had two doors. So big deal, my parent needed to wait for me to pull up the seat so i could get in or out. Whipty doo. Maybe thats why im so angry at the world, because my family did not a have a 4 door sedan to spoil me with or some bulls***.

write to G Dubyah. make him get a big ol' gass guzzlin Esyouvee for every deprived family.

nope, my parents had a 75 celica, 75 datsun 240z, and an early 80's 2 door carolla when we were growing up. christ, they had a 67 mustang when i was a baby. somewhere in there was a vw bug, a merc cougar, none of them had 4 doors. when i have kids, i'm going to stuff them in the trunk of a miata and tell them to deal with it.

also a valid point. i was raised on C64, and i turned out alright. right?

hahahahahahahahaha..sure;).

My parents had 2 doors...up until I was getting older, and 2 doors where cool..then we got a minivan, right intime for my liscence..lol.

we always had 2 door cars growing up

Olds omega
2 vw bugs ( one blew up)
79' f-150
83 accord hatch
86 accord
Then I started driving...
90 Prelude, 92 Prelude, 97 prelude

all two doors, most all 5 spd.

not your typical family :)

ironic thing is, now I drive a four door! and don't have or want kids.

i grew up with not one, but two conversion vans. maybe this is why i have such hatred for huge vehicles. i also learned to drive in these things which wasnt easy at all.

wait for it

It doesn't matter when the kids can move for themselves. The problem is when they can't and you have to heave in this 45 pound baby in a car seat without waking them up. It's just way easier. You'll see.

Well according to statistics that we have now. We (those born in the 70's and earlier) Should be dead. Antibacterial?, airbags?, mercury?, DIRT?, etc.

My dad had/still has a 1976 Corvette stingray and when me and my bro were young and small one would sit in the front seat and the other got stuffed in the dufflebag/speaker area behind the seats under the rear cut-off window. We use to fight for that back cubby hole!! But he also had a Chrystler Fifth avenue. back when they were the mercs of chrystlers. Then he got a Merc 420SEL and a minivan. Both a b**** to learn to drive in. Oh but the Minivan was the cyber-sled. It was the collest car in Highschool. Plenty of room...if you know what i mean!

And here I am poor ol me that was driven in the old style Mini when it was still a Mini made by MG, for the first 3 years of my life when I lived in Portugal. Then we came here and had a 2-door Plymouth rust bucket until my mom got a brand new 4-door Pontiac 6000LE in 1988(I was already 5).

buncha pussy's we didn't even have a car we walked...
If one of us got tired we left him/her behind to fend for themselves
(we lived in the country with bears n s***)
