On news on my car, well I will get the new Comp Turbo and piping installed by F2 once they are ready for me. They are already installing it on another customer's car and will retune it. They are going to test the AEM FIC and compare it to the XFC to see which one is better.
The ecu flash they were developing is taking longer than expected so they are switching gears for the moment. They were using the ecu flash to tune another customer's car but it was taking too long and that customer needed the car back so they went back to the old tuning.
Can anyone with this kit installed please tell me how the intercooler mounts to the car? There's 4 mounting holes (2 on top, 2 on bottom) that are the same distance apart. Is it just so you can flip it over? Two of the holes seem to line up with two screws in the underbody/splash shield, but I can't find anything in the bumper for the other two holes. Is it really held in place by the intercooler piping and two bolts through plastic?
F I N A L L Y got my gasket and instructions. Actually, I found the instructions online months ago when they were called the TRIPOINT instructions. F2 just cut out what didn't apply to their kit...and there is zero mention of an intercooler....awesome.
Does anyone else's inlet pipe have two differently sized hose fittings? The smaller diameter straight hose is the only thing that fits on the smaller fitting, but doesn't fit over the BPV exhaust port..it actually fits inside of it. Do I have this completely wrong?
