F*&$@# up clutch ??????

very often when i am shifting through the gears when i put in the clutch and let off the throttle i can hear the a noise that i think sounds like i can hear the clutch spinning. Is this really bad otr what?

no i am not sure but i asked my dad about it one day when we were both in it and he thinks its the clutch as well

its not even under hard acceleration its when i am shifting gears. i let out the gas and when i push in the clutch i hear like a sound of the slutch spinning and it worries me but it might be the BOV i am not sure thats why i am coming to you guys

what exactly does the clutch spinning sound like to you?It is very difficult to help if you cant pin point this. I think it is the bov

it is the BOV...i heard that same noise and it bothered me..i took it to the authorized mazdaspeed mechanic and he said it was the bov...trust me it's all good...he basically described it to me is that when you have your foot on the gas the computer senses alot of power in the engine and when u take your foot off the gas really quick (about 3500 to 4000 rpm) to shift, the computer knows that there is alot of excess power around and it neds to get rid of it so it shoots it out...hence the whistling...i thought it was a grating noiuse...but thats what it is...if that isnt it some1 please tell me lol

it cant be the clutch then because if you are pressing the pedal in, the clutch isnt even engaged, so how can it be spinning?

TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER.....for stuff that you can't really describe in words over the internet, take it back to your dealer if you have a concern (or don't trust what people are telling you). You bought the car from them, take it back and ask questions.

It could be BOV
It could be a bad clutch
It could be your still on the gas (for a moment) when you push in the clutch
It could be your muffler bearings
It could be that voice in your head telling you that you should have bought a SRT-4

I'm not ragging on you, I just trying to prove a point....everyone will tell you it's one thing or another (and it could be any one of those things or none of them)...and without experiencing your problem in your car personally, no one can be absolutely sure what you are experiencing. Soo, if you dont' know anyone who can tell you for sure what your problem is, take it to the professionals who were trained to diagnose the problems with our cars....LET MAZDA DECIDE....this is what you have a warranty for.

i just went for a drive and it is the BOV i messed with the car and it makes the sound when i let off the throttle not push in the clutch. that all of you for your help. problem solved
