I had a gig in-town tonight... in Boston. Parked in the Hotel garage at the Raddison for the event. Go out at the end of the gig to pull my car around and load my gear in... some a-hole stole my Mazda Tow-Hitch cover.

I'm about to go look online to see if it's a replacement part or something.

Why? Why do people need to do it...? What for?

Granted... they didn't steal my car... I feel bad for the other member here who had his Escort stolen. My sympathies to you.

Anyhow... just thought I'd vent. Thanks.

People who steal stuff suck. They all need to die. Bet if that were the case crime rates would go down. Steal something = death.

LOL, they took you hitch cover? They probably don't even have a hitch.
Don't feel to bad. I know exactly what you mean. I had about 300 dollars in my friends CD's that I barrowed stolen. Along with my kids sunglasses (they fit a 4yr old). That sucked. I felt rapped.

yeah - I know... I just needed to vent for a second.

I realize that in the grand-scheme... what happened to me is minor. $6.50 to be exact. The fact that I am lucky enough to afford a lifestyle that I can BUY a CX-7 is enough to be thankful for.

I lost my cover while off road one time. Fortunately, I got two for X-mas so I just got the other one out. I also attached a picture hanging thingy like a little eye hook and attached it to a ring on my hitch with a zip-tie. It is not noticeable and will hopefully deter anyone from taking it or having it fall off.

Aww, tha sux Scott

I have a friend that had his Mazda Emblem stolen off his hood 2 days after he bought tha car!
I agree, people who steal SUCK (bj) I had my *BluBaBy6* stolen, Halloween night ~ it was found parked illegally 30 days laters with ONLY a broken window.....I cried when I was reunited with my *BluBaBy*

Dude that blows. I remember my mothers old GMC Jimmy was stolen only to be driven 5 blocks up the street and nothing but old salsa music cd's where missing.

Now with my brother his car was left sitting on cinder blocks all 4 wheels gone off his old mr2

I thought someone stole mine last week.

Then I was going into a car wash that I normally go to and noticed a sign that said "We will remove your antenna or Hitch Cover, if you ask". I thought about it for a second and released I had been to the car wash last week.

I was looking into the wash and notice something on the floor, back towards the middle of the wash. I asked the guy to stop it and see if my hitch cover was back there. Woohoo.. It was... So definitely take the cover off if you go in a car wash.

Wanna talk about s*** getting stolen... how bout this, coming home from my companies x-mas party 2 years ago, my MSP was still pretty new at that point, and I stayed overnight in NYC since I live on LI. I left my car overnight at the trainstation. It snowed that night and into the morning. I get back to the trainstation at like 2:30 pm the next day only to find my passenger window smashed. Now I had just installed the new Kenwood 25th anniv. deck in the dash and I had a screen that didn't work still in the top slot. I was smart enough to take the face of the new radio with me, but these csuckers took fd up my dash trying to remove the broken screen which they got. They took my 2 pair of sunglasses, D&G and Fendi, my old Nike Gym sneakers but left the bag. The broken Kenwood deck that was still in the back seat and the stock MSP amp from the trunk. They also took all my CD's and my old Ipod which was strictly for car use at that point. All in all the only things that sucked were the Ipod and the CD's since I was gutting the stereo anyway. To make it worse, remember it snowed overnight and into the morning... my car was completely dry on the inside meaning it happened in broad daylight and just before I got home! Whoever took that s*** just ruined the next week for me. On my way to the tint shop to get the new window tinted, I get a flat tire on the highway... just a totally bad situation. People just flat out suck ass.

Another time my friend had his rims stolen off his civic in his drive way with his window facing the driveway and was home when it happened. To add insult to injury, the left thing sitting on 2 cinder blocks instead of 4 to show how good they were... this was heavily angled driveway
