We/I am located in Wisconsin... but the shipping charges aren't that different really. Otherwise if you want to stay close. MPI (modern performance) builds good blocks as well and they are right up New Jersey, so closer to your NC location. And he can do a full long block as well if needed (I'm not fully setup yet on doing long blocks... just shorts.. and a long in case you don't know the terminology just means including the head and cams).

The Thumper kit is just a name for MAM's top turbo kit. It isn't actually a brand or anything in particular. I believe MPNick (Modern Performance ) has a very nice turbo kit available, otherwise Juan at HiBoost would be your next best bet... we (NSN) do not do turbo kits at this point.

As Mateo/Yellerandahalf knows... I won't sell you what you don't need... and I'll refer you to other vendors for things I think they do better or may fit your needs/location better. Our block is top notch and best possible components and machining... And I'd be happy to do one for you without a problem. I'd also explain anything and everything about what we do to the block and why.

MPNick at Modern Performance can do you a block for around $2300-2500! That's the beauty of doing it all in house....cheaper. He can do everything in house from the motor, to tranny, to turbo kit, to engine management. He has a couple big dog MSP's under his belt. He has the highes HP per psi protege out. As far as time. If you dropped off the car we could build and engine and turbo kit, install and tune it and have it ready for pick up in four weeks.

Honestly, if you need a turbo kit, I'd say do it all with Nick. He is a great guy and will do you right... I'm happy to do a block for you... but I don't make much money on them so it is not a big deal to me, and I know Nick will take care of you as well so do whatever. If you have questions let me know and I'll be happy to help out. One of the owners of NSN has a MPNick built block too... so .

Well MAM is *suspended* right now I guess... so I don't know what you can do in that department... they made good stuff when they were in business... but I don't know what is up these days..

But... assuming 14 psi and good tuning and the like with what you've got listed there... you could hit about 300 at the ground.
