Exhaust?

Whats the best exhaust setup for a msp? Does anyone have any experience with magnaflow exhaust? It's reasonably priced but does it really perform?

For performance, the GHL s-pipe/downpipe is the way to go. Cat backs are a little to noisy for the most part and really don't do much for performance. The Apex r1 downpipe is cheap and for the $ is a good mod. I'm thinking about getting rid of that for the GHL and maybe going the cut-out route for power on demand without waking the neighbors when I get home.

What fitment issues did you have? I found that the exhaust tip was too big and was too close to the bumper, building up carbon (black spots on the paint) and burning the bumper. Also, when I go stock, I'll share photos of what's left of the dual-cat pipe replacement part.

Cat-backs will definitely not give you the performance you are looking for. After going to the dyno I can definitely see that boost speed is being hampered by the two stock cats sitting in the downpipe. I'm going to get an estimate on a custom system and if it's too much, I'm going with the vibrant system without the cat. I'll have a high-flow put in right before emissions testing in 1.75 years.

I have a CS exhaust & if you bend the hangers right you have no fitment issues....plus it sounds awesome & is great fo the price

you can still go to their website and order one. I think they sell on other forums just not this one, but for the money I would go with the GHL almost the same exact exhaust for a lot less...

3" turbo-back all the way!!!! got to love it...
