okay so i did search but i dont seem to be finding anything. I think i remember having a discussion about this but im not sure.

Anyways....

So i was wondering if anyone here has tried to weld an exhast tip on to our stock exhaust. We have those pvssy exhaust tips and im wondering if anyone has tried to weld an actual tip to the exhaust. Something like this

I have been looking for some to replace the round tips on my Magnaflow catback. It's very difficult to find something that fits the oval holes without looking lopsided. I have found a couple of choices, I need to make up some templates with those sizes and see how it looks. If I come up with something I'll post it in the thread I started about it.

yea man agreed. I dont feel like spending money on a new exhaust, so i want to try something new with the exhaust tips

well u could take off the oval tips they do come off..and then put on your own exhaust tips like buy some at an automotive store..they do sell some nice one's...but ur looking to weld some on,go to ur local exhaust shop they'd be able to do that..

I really don't see the point of modifying the stock exhaust. Especially if a set of tips is gonna cost close to $100 before installation. Save it and buy the actual CBE then.

i can relate to wanting to change the exhaust of the speed6, but i would listen to tunersteve's advice. save the money and get something more tangible than just tips.

i know and i agree too but its just hard at this time of the economy to throw down 500$ for a little sound and not much HP gain..

You can get a brand-new Magnaflow system for slightly over $400 shipped.
