exhaust question

so i just got a 2005 mazda 3. never really done anything to cars and dont really know much. im looking to do a few things to the car tho, rims mainly, i wanna get exhaust but its a little outta the price range for me. is there anyway i could make the car louder without having a put a exhaust in
