I believe that if you take them off, whenever you install an exhaust, you are going to melt the plastic.

I'm going to put them back on, so I'm not worried about my bumper melting, just want to paint them. Oh well I guess I will experiment this weekend.

if you don't clean them often they'll turn black on their own. lol.

if you plan on painting them black use something like the ceramic/silicon spray paint you can find it at autozone or advanced auto. this way you won't melt the paint i used it on my heat shield and its still holdin up...

I'm thinking doing this now, but I need a better angle of the car. I will do that tomorrow since I go on vacation(headbang)
