Exhaust Depot's FMIC

Power is holding well and all the way to 6k which is sweet. Sometimes I notice the ECU pulling back a bit, perhaps due to this not being the FMIC map on the AP, but here is the dyno regardless. I can't run the stock map anymore, I get boost cut in 4th and 5th! No more heatsoak either as far as i can tell and supported by dyno:

And I say i can feel the ECU pulling back as in WGDC goes to zero sometimes in the high rpm range....same thing it did with my stutter problem before the map revisions. Except i cant hear or feel much of a stutter, but im pretty sure thats one of the ECUs way to pull back boost and power when the car is making more power than it wants to with that map.

As for the temp sensor relocate...I didnt like it sitting right in front of the IC. I moved it to where the CAI would sit. Yeah it may be a few degrees higher now, but I never found it to be that accurate to begin with.

Aaron, looks really nice. Sounds like your enjoying your setup with the AP and all. Nice to see a good experience once in a while!

up that biotch to 20psi and break 300whp damit! dyno's look good! big difference from stock intercooler dyno's. Power always fall off right at 5300-5500rpms, that IC is doing its job.

the numbers were all over the place at the dyno day, I'm not sure what to think, so many possible variables. One MS3 with 3.25 TMIC, intake put down 232hp. Then some guy iwth just intake put down around 250-260. There was an MS6 that had tmic and intake too and he put down low numbers. Then all the cars later in the day had high numbers (the car iwth just intake, etc). I don't know if its the ECUs in our cars being moody, if they changed some calibrations on the dyno, or what exactly. I think my peak numbers may be a lit low too since like I said I've seen WGDC jump to zero before in the high rpms. Wish I would have had the FMIC map for the AP but I didnt.

Also, when I got in my car after the dyno my ABS and TC light were stuck on? I turned the car off and then back on...still on. I had to drive about a quarter of a mile for it to go away. I was thinking it was a possiblity they ****** something up with traction control on the dyno or something, but who knows.

Ive got 232 whp on dyno dynamic with cobb sri and forge bpv and i heard dyno jet reads higher than other....but I know you will se bigger numbers when they release 93 octane map with fmic....U just have to wait

yeah but not all dynojets are the same, in GENERAL they are higher but thats not always the case. They said their dynojet read the same as a local mustang... i just want the fmic map

waiting sucks....i hope you will get dyno with new maps soon good luck mate....

I thin the TC light stays on because your front wheels are doing 100mph and the back ones 0. ECU was probably just comeing out of the shock of it all.

any news on the long term quality of the kit? I am thinking of buying that kit or atleast the pipping. Also what kind of intercooler does that kit come with? on the site he didnt say.

im getting their Piping kit.

Aaronc7 has it and has no problems with it

that link doesnt tell much the one he got was used and probably and older model from what i have read he has remade the thing a few times but you do have a point i think im goin to go with just the pipping kit and do my own intercooler like a spearco universal and see how that works.

i/c size for the ED kit is 29x9x3 but i would go for a 2.5in core if you don't want to relocate the p/s cooler lines.
