For one, this forum is excellent and I've learned alot but searching for specific things can be somewhat comburesome so my apoligizes if I'm already repeating this.
Just starting upgraded my speed6 and put on a CP-e eninge mount and CP-e HKS BOV. I bought the CP-e CAI but haven't installed that yet, need to get a jack and some stands. I know that the exhaust buildup readily prevelant to begin with on the chrome of the rear bumper but now with the BOV installed it seems to build up even richer and worse. The BOV is set to recirc, and I defintely have been giving more throttle to feel the response of the engine mount but all that build up can't be good.
Is the BOV doing anything that's harming the enigne or am I just being paranoid and worrying for nothing? Once the CAI is installed will the extra air help sooth out the build up problem? I'd hate to go back to stock and waste the money but I'd prefer to have realiability. If the build up is normal with the BOV than that's fine but please let me know if something is wrong. The BOV was professionally installed.
Thanks everyone!!!!!
