Exclamation Point on Gauge

It came up a few weeks ago, but i never bothered figuring out what its for. Anyone have any idea why it came on? It'll go off then go back on once every 2 days or so.. Figured its time for maintenance or low tire pressure. Anyone have any clue?

If it was on with a beeping alarm, it was probably the TPMS letting you know you need to put air in the tires.

You can also see an exclamation point for a brake system failure and a power steering malfunction. You may want to check out your owner's manual, it's full of good info. No offense intended.

I have found the tire pressure sensors to be quite sensitive to relatively minor changes in pressure; the cooler weather probably made the difference.

yea. but i really doubt it has to do with the brake or steering now. way to early for that. haha i think its 99.9% its the tire pressure. but thanks anyway guys

I guarantee it's your tpms. I live in jersey as well..temps have been dipping into the 30s and my tpms goes off..but lunch time the weather gets back to 60 and the light goes off. If it remains on for days than you def have to fill some air.

^^^^^^^^
What he said. My Chrysler was complainig of its tire pressure. Sure enough, all four needed air, particularly the right rear as the TPMS said. The 'Speed was low, too as was my daughter's Camry. This cold snap really lowered the pressures.

Mine hasn't gone off... yet. It's only been dipping down into the 30's for about 4 or 5 days now.
