exaust manifold gaskets

I have some questions but first the story :

I want to install my EGT censor and I have to remove the exaust manifold to install it. I call a mazda dealer and the part dep told me that : the gasket between the motor head and the exaust manifold is the same one as a non-turbo protege. It's true ??? Does the OEM gasket made a good job for turbo engine?? Can I buy somthing better ??

And BTW If any body have already remove it, do you have some advise for me ??

same one. It's a metal crush gasket. Can't get any better.

Damn...I figured it was different. Reason being that they just replaced mine(it was leaking) and it took 4 days to ship from Mazda. I figured if it was the same as a reg protege they would be in stock somewhere in the area(dunno)

give you a nice sticky reseal to prevent leakage

I think the best way is to replace it each time to avoid manifold leak. It's about 20$ each.
